The advantage of 30 degree is fitting in tighter spaces. Between those two, I'd vote 21 (that's what I have). Nails seem to be a lot cheaper for the 21-degree, too. But that might just be a nuance of pricing. There have been very few times when my 21 degree nailer was too long to do what I need it to do.

A stick of 15 gauge, 24 degree finish nails will not work in a 15 gauge finish nailer with a 34 degree magazine. The 23, 18, and 16 gauge nails are almost all straight sticks because thos sizes of finish nailers almost all have straight magazines.
